Giselle Ruzany MA LPC is a client- centered psychotherapist and has a private practice at Woodley Park in Washington DC. She has a master in somatic psychology and dance/movement therapy, as well as, certification in Gestalt therapy and EMDR. She is a licensed professional counselor and in private practice since 2002, she is also a professional modern dancer and an adjunct professor at the George Washington University at the Theater and Dance department.

As a licensed professional counselor she is connected to the board of regulations of Washington DC that guides practitioners to keep their education in check, as well as periodically reviewing ethics and trauma protocols for the safety of their clients, which is such an important part of keeping the practice safe and with integrity, one of Giselle's priorities in her practice.
